Sticks and Stones: Branching Out
Loay Boggess and Vicki Rottman

Show opens on Friday, May 23rd, 6–9 pm

Visit us on First Friday, June 6th, 6-9pm

Summer Solstice Closing Party: June 20th, 6-9pm

Vicki Rottman is a stone carver who is branching out by combining twigs and sticks with her stonework and creating hand-knitted sculptural webs stretched on tree branches.

Denver photographer Loay Boggess is now creating hand-built, wood-fired ceramic stones.

The exhibit invites viewers to consider the relationship between art and nature, states of impermanence, and intricate beauties inherent in the natural world, even sticks and stones.

The artists request that visitors to the show bring a pebble with them to exchange for one to take home.

Ironton Studios is open Monday through Friday from 10 to 4, and Saturdays from 12 to 4.
